@Mike - 300, ironically, was on last night! I shouldn't have watched it though because I felt the need to throtle someone and couldn't get to sleep until around midnight.

@mtwheels - Awesome, you're coming to T.O.!?! As far as places to stay goes...if you're looking for something sheik & cool, my wife and I stayed at the Soho Metropolitan (at Spadina & Wellington) for a weekend. Even though we didn't have the kids with us, they were incredibly kid-friendly.

Don't leave town without going to Brassaii on King West for brunch with the kids. Have the bacon-asiago biscuits...they're amazing.

As far as stuff to do with the kids go...my troop loves Center Island. There's a lot of hands-on stuff to do at the Art Gallery (it's called the AGO) and St. Lawrence Market, Kensington Market & Chinatown are all great experiences.

Hope that helps!

I'm with everyone on the 8 hours of sleep! Oh and a couple of hours of watching the US Open this weekend.

I'm really liking those samba's! 300 is the movie I pop in the blu-ray player everytime I don't feel like working out. Taking one look at those guys get me motivated to get a workout in for fear of looking like the hunch-back guy in the movie.

Gotta love the Samba Classics. I have worn them for years. Tried the Samba Millennium this time...not as good as the original.

An unrelated question...

For a long weekend trip this summer the family picked Toronto. Any advice on where to stay (or not stay) and anything that we can't 'not' see, go, eat, or do?

Thanks!

Some new "skinny clothes" would be nice. I'm sure I look ridiculous still wearing XL t-shirts, pants 2 sizes too big, etc. but I HATE the idea of spending money to replace otherwise perfectly good clothes.
